Crossbeam+Linear

Bring Crossbeam and Linear together in your AI tools

Crossbeam surfaces the partners, overlaps, and deal activity behind your shared accounts. Linear holds the issues, projects, and comments where your integration work actually happens. One prompt, not two tools.

Run your first AI workflow across both tools

Start with a prompt that brings Crossbeam and Linear into the same conversation. Crossbeam brings the full partner picture: overlaps, performance, deal activity. Linear brings the issues, projects, and comments where integration work gets planned, built, and shipped.

Ecosystem building
CrossbeamPartner

Size an integration request with real partner numbers

Linear finds the issues requesting a tech-partner integration on your roadmap. Crossbeam sizes the partnership behind the request: overlap counts, open deals, potential revenue, and partner score, so the loudest ask and the biggest ask stop getting confused.

Example prompt
"Find our Linear issues requesting a [Partner] integration, then pull [Partner]'s overlap counts, potential revenue, and partner score from Crossbeam."
Account intelligence
CrossbeamPartner

Get the partner stakes behind a customer-reported issue

Linear finds the open issues tied to an account your team is hearing from. Crossbeam shows which partners share that account, ranked by partner score, and whether the partnership is actively sharing data, so you know who else has skin in the fix.

Example prompt
"Find open Linear issues that mention [Account], then ask Crossbeam which partners share [Account], ranked by partner score."
Deal acceleration
CrossbeamPartner

Check a fix's status before it stalls a shared deal

Linear reports where the fix stands: the issue's current state and latest comments. Crossbeam surfaces the partner-shared contacts at the affected account, ranked by role signals like technical buyer, so the update reaches the person who can keep the deal moving.

Example prompt
"Check the status and latest comments on [issue] in Linear, then pull the partner-shared technical buyer contacts at [Account] from Crossbeam."
Pipeline generation
CrossbeamPartner

Create a roadmap issue with the business case attached

Crossbeam counts the customers and prospects you share with a tech partner, segment by segment. Linear creates the integration issue with those numbers in the description, so the request lands on the roadmap with its pipeline case already written.

Example prompt
"Pull our customer and prospect overlaps with [Partner] from Crossbeam, then create a Linear issue in [project] proposing the integration with those numbers in the description."
Co-sell execution
CrossbeamPartner

Log partner deal activity where the integration gets built

Crossbeam reports recent activity with the partner: deals opened, closed won, and greenfield wins on shared accounts. Linear adds that summary as a comment on the integration project, so the team building it sees the co-sell revenue it is driving.

Example prompt
"Get recent ecosystem activity with [Partner] from Crossbeam and add a summary comment to our [integration project] in Linear."

What each MCP server does before you pair them

Crossbeam

Crossbeam MCP

Your partner relationships and deal activity.

  • Every account a specific partner has a relationship with, and how strong it is
  • Whether a partner recently opened, closed, or won a deal on an account
  • Contacts a partner has shared, ranked by role: decision maker, economic buyer, executive sponsor, and more
  • Partners who fit your ecosystem based on shared accounts
  • Read-only: nothing here writes back to your CRM or to Crossbeam
Linear

Linear

MCP

Your product roadmap: the issues, projects, and comments behind every integration.

  • Find, create, and update objects in your Linear workspace: issues, projects, and comments
  • Read-write by default, with a read-only endpoint or read-only OAuth scope when you want it locked down
  • OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, plus API key and Okta SAML options for enterprises
  • Centrally hosted and managed by Linear, no server to stand up

Frequently asked questions

Crossbeam MCP is in Limited Availability and is enabled by default for customers on Supernode and Enterprise plans. Connect it at mcp.crossbeam.com/mcp using OAuth with your Crossbeam credentials, and SAML SSO is supported. Not on one of those plans? Talk to our team.
There are native connectors for Claude, ChatGPT, and Glean, plus documented setups for Gong Agent Studio and custom connections like n8n, Microsoft Copilot, and LibreChat. Claude, ChatGPT, and Glean also support the partner tool's connector, so both servers run in one chat with no bridging work.
No. Crossbeam MCP is read-only: it reads ecosystem intelligence and returns it to your AI client. It can generate a shareable list link so you can jump into the UI, but no documented tool changes data in Crossbeam.
Use MCP when a person or an agent is asking questions in natural language and needs ecosystem context in the moment. Use the REST API for programmatic reads on your own schedule, and Webhooks when you want Crossbeam to push events to you as they happen. Most teams end up using more than one.
Your overlaps with one partner or across the whole ecosystem, a unified view of a single account with population membership and owner, partner health metrics like overlap counts, open deals, win rate and recency, ranked partner recommendations on an open opportunity, and recent ecosystem activity including partner deals opened, closed won, and greenfield signals. Access is scoped to your own Crossbeam permissions.
No. In supported clients it's a connector plus an OAuth login, with no code, no API keys, and no local install. The partner tool is added the same way, from your client's connector settings.
AI Chat lives inside Crossbeam and answers questions about your ecosystem there. MCP brings that same intelligence into the AI tool you already work in, alongside your other connectors. That's what makes pairings like this one possible in a single prompt.
