The Essentials course prepares students to install, configure, trouble shoot and operate any of the best-in-class security applications on the Crossbeam X-Series Platform. The course also includes serialization of multiple applications within a single system. Hands-on lab exercises reinforce key skills throughout the course and provide real-world best-practices for deploying Crossbeam solutions.

Crossbeam Advanced Training

The Advanced course provides students with a deeper understanding of how the X-Series architecture and operating system (XOS) achieve exceptional levels network consolidation, adaptability and high-availability. Through best-practice theory and hands-on lab exercises, students will learn how to architect using the X-Series Platform within a next generation infrastructure, and configure advanced functions to maximize investment.
Crossbeam Advanced Course Description


The Crossbeam Certified Specialist (CCS) certification signifies that an individual has acquired the skills necessary to install and provision an X-Series Platform in a pre-defined network configuration. The CCS can install and configure a security solution using best-in-class applications, and monitor and troubleshoot the overall solution. Crossbeam Essentials training is required to become CCS certified.


The Crossbeam Certified Expert (CCE) has an in-depth knowledge of the X-Series and operating system (XOS) and architecture, and can design advanced solutions that leverage the power of the platform and maximize their investment. A CCE can confidently design and implement a fault tolerant, optimized solution. Crossbeam Essentials and Advanced training are required to become CCE certified.

*Crossbeam certifications are valid for a period of one year. To maintain certification, students whose certifications have not lapsed for more than one year are required to take the latest Update Courses available via e-Learning and pass the certification exam.

e-Learning: Crossbeam Essentials can be taken remotely from any location with an internet connection. This course includes hands-on training via our Remote Training Lab (RTL), a self-guided training manual and access to our experts live at any time. Self-paced content is available immediately upon registration while RTL is pre-scheduled.

On-Site Training:
With onsite instructor-led training, our experts come to you to provide either Crossbeam Essentials or Advanced training. This delivery option provides the most flexibility for classes between 4 and 8 students, including when and where you would like to be trained. Crossbeam provides a dedicated Training Center located near Boston, Massachusetts, where students can take our instructor-led Essentials or Advanced training. In addition, Crossbeam offers periodic regional training throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific with our traveling classroom.
